Now Hiring a DevOps Manager to be to support continuous integration and deployment of applications on the Microsoft Azure cloud, while being able to ensure reliability of hardware and software that is deployed. Hands on coding and actual stand up of networking requirement will be required. The DevOps Manager must have strong hands on experience coding and running a DevOps environment.

Essential Job Functions

  • Lead application deployment, release cadence and implementation
  • Ensure reliability of code and act as a final layer of quality assurance and control
  • Analytical, diagnostic / debugging / troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills required for continuous integration and deployment of applications, systems, and equipment
  • Ability to think creatively when solving problems
  • Be hands on and actively review code alongside the team, with time balanced between development, code review and management

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with focus on programming, or equivalent
  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Strong teamwork skills and experience in an Agile and collaborative environment
  • Complete understanding of the development process and testing cycles including bug tracking and formal code documentation and releases
  • Automated testing and service monitoring of applications and environments
  • Strong experience with release management, versioning and troubleshooting in highly complex and visible programs
  • Experience with common development and repository tools (i.e. SVN, GIT, JIRA, etc.) and automated testing tools, such as Protractor and xUnit
  • Experience with database driven web applications with SQL and/or NOSQL backend that make use of custom web services
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud technologies and services
  • Network troubleshooting and virtualization support experience
  • Build continuous integration systems
  • Participate in architectural and code reviews
  • Support dev, QA & prod environments
  • TCP/IP subnet design and routing experience
  • API and web services integration and management with the ability to optimize performance and drive efficient equipment usage
  • Understanding and experience troubleshooting all layers of the OSI model

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficiency in C#
  • Apache Tomcat
  • Development of secure applications and/or experience with pentests
  • TLS 1.2
  • Hands on experience with Cisco networking and server equipment
  • Systems integration experience (hardware and software)
  • Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI
  • Integration experience of large data sets and/or Big Data solutions, such as HDFS clusters
